Genfanad is a runescape alternative that's in the works, I've personally been following them for a while now and the game is very goofy and light hearted while also bringing old school gameplay back to life. Their retro way of gaming is a breath  of fresh air in an over saturated market and as such I'm really excited to see their Kickstarter succeed. 

They're planning on having weekly updates for as long as the game is live, all with less than $10/mo subscription making the rewards very cost effecient. My only gripe about this game is the fact that they are not willing to create a Guilded Server, and the community is Discord exclusive.

New heroes can enjoy the world as they like, picking up and mastering the skills that interest them most. Players are welcome to visit the darker and more dangerous corners of the world to take on a wide variety of beasts, so long as they're aware that health insurance isn't offered.
